It bugs me when people tell me I will get no where and make no money, in reality graphic design is one of the most booming careers there is at the moment, and other fields of art can make you a lot of money too. If you're planing on selling paintings... well.... good luck... But if you want to be an illustrator, or work for some kind of a company- then not all is lost! You still have a good shot at some serious cash!
Well you can own a gallery due to your knowledge of art you can become a sketch artist, while selling on the side. Also you can do forensic facial reconstructions, there is a lot to do and very respectable as well. You have not only the talent to do what you want, but also the courage never loose sight of that. :)
I went to college for art, I'm almost 30, and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing ;)
ReplyDeleteDon't mind them! You are doing what you love, and why people keep on thinking an office job is the thing to get...
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing, and your family should support you!
