I stumbled upon the One World One Heart event just in the nick of time! It is a whole bunch of bloggers who are doing giveaways through their blog!
Since I've been making a whole bunch of stuff lately due to the Thing-A-Day challenge, I decided that today's creation will be my giveaway!
I will also be adding more prizes as I have more time to create things so check back often!
The lucky winner will receive this handmade polymer clay bracelet along with a surprise!
To enter the giveaway, leave a comment telling me about your dream -- whether it be a dream job, the family you've always wanted, success, fame....whatever it is I want to hear it!
I've decided to add a second prize. This pair of earrings along with a surprise gift will be awarded to my favorite answer to the question above!
I will post the winner's name on my blog so please check back on or the week of Feb 14 to see if you won. If you have a blog, I will try to comment on it to notify you that you've won. If the winner does not reply/contact me within 5 days, I will do a 2nd drawing.

The bracelet in this post is one I would try and rock as much as possible! I love it, great design.
My dream? I only have two right now, the first is to get in at the local children's hospital in Detroit and help volunteer in the crafts room. It's hard to get in...but I have faith. The other is that I want to return to school at some point this year.

Hmmm, my biggest dream since coming to live in Europe for a couple years was to have all 9 of my sisters come to see me. My dream (this is kind of long, so I apologize): A few years ago I met the man who at the time was the love of my life. Everything was wonderful...except he lived on the other side of the world. We tried to make it work; we would go back and visit one another fairly often while we attempted to get his fiance visa in order...but after two years of spending so much money and so rarely being able to see one another...we kind of broke apart. It's really sad, we could have made one another so happy. I then started thinking about all the immigrants here in America (illegal and non), and how extra hard that much be for them. It isn't fair...you know? So my dream is this: I dream that one day our society will wake up and we will live in a land without borders. A place where people don't have to fight to see their loved ones. A place where no one has the right to say to someone else "you can't live here because you weren't lucky enough to have been born here". A place where people have a choice to live either in the lands of freedom, or the lands of oppression. People shouldn't ever fear leaving for someplace where they can better their lives...all the while worrying that they may never see their loved ones and friends ever again. We all share the same skies and stars and moon and sun anyway...why not share the same land as well?

This is a great idea! However, I just moved across country and have most of my stuff in storage. What I would like to do, is go into as many of the blogs as I can and sign in. If my name gets pulled by anyone as a winner, I will donate $100 to AIDS Foundation in memory of my brother. If my name gets selected more than once, I will up the ante an additional $10 every time it gets pulled (greedy I know, but one can dream!!!) If my name is not pulled by anyone, I will still make a $50 donation. This way, everyone is a winner.

My dream? Well...I have several...
the cure for breast cancer and other cancers, the end to the war, a wish for better understanding between different cultures and people of the world. That my boys will find happiness in both of their lives and are fufilled as people...

My dream for ages, from a young child was to go to Wales, to see castles. I have no heritage or ancestry tying me to that area, but reading Lloyd Alexander and Susan Cooper's books left me with a serious longing to see this land. I went through various phases in my life ... when I had time, I had no money ... and when I had money, I had no time. Finally, in 1999, I just bit the bullet, took a risk and booked a 2 week trip. My then-sweetheart suddenly backed out and my mother took his place. It turned out to be a fabulous trip, even more magnificent because my mother was there with me. I explored every nook and cranny & absorbed the castles into my pores. Even today, when I am going through a hard time, I just close my eyes & remember that time & say out loud, "but I have seen CASTLES," and suddenly, the impossible is within reach. :) There you have it ... my dream come true! :D

I dream about getting to leave the house without having some sort of toddler-related stain on me.

I dream about having a job that lets me get away with surfing the net most of the day (no, wait, scrap that one, I already have it - see, your dreams CAN be achieved!).
Most of all though, I dream about getting some sleep, so I can actually get to dream!

Gosh, for once in my life, I would really love to finally be THIN.....LOL!
I would have thought that by now, all the money and time I've spent on diet products and gym memberships in my lifetime would have amounted to SOMETHING!
